When I was younger I used to eye the Brylcreem in the shaving isle and think about one day trying it out. Ultimately, in the growing sea of products I never did. I wouldn't have known how to use it back then anyway. The first Brylcreem product was a pomade created in 1928 by County Chemicals at the Chemico Works in Bradford Street, Birmingham, England. The pomade is an emulsion of water and mineral oil stabilized with beeswax.Well wasn't I surprised to see that Brylcreem had recently launched (2009 in England) a new line of men's hair products with new packaging. Ah the power of marketing....It's hard to resist the British lion icon. The popularity of "Madmen" apparently birthed a generation of style seekers that appreciate the golden age of manliness.
